25-2033 : Feroleto, Wyatt - Ord Amend Chap 175-1 Enumeration of Fees

This ordinance amends Chapter 175, Section 175-1 of the City of Buffalo Code, which enumerates fees. Specifically, it updates the fee structure for turf rentals within City of Buffalo parks and open spaces, as detailed in Section 309-28.

Key changes to fees for turf rentals:

• Designated Private Indoor Turf Field Rental:
  • Full Field: $250.00 for City Residents, $260.00 for Non-City Residents.
  • Half Field: $125.00 for City Residents, $135.00 for Non-City Residents.
  • Batting Cages/Small Field: $100.00 for City Residents, $110.00 for Non-City Residents.
  • Single Batting Cage: $35.00 for City Residents, $45.00 for Non-City Residents.
• Community/Meeting Room Rental: $35.00 for City Residents, $45.00 for Non-City Residents.

Handicapped persons, as classified by the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, will continue to be exempt from these fees for all recreational facilities, with the exception of designated private ice time at skating rinks and turf rentals. This amendment takes effect upon ratification pursuant to City Charter § 3-19.
