26-288 : Trailblazing Sign in Honor of Terry and Regina Williams

This resolution approves the installation of two Trailblazing Signs on Leroy Avenue to honor Army Veteran Terry Williams and Regina Williams of Empower Me Fitness.

Terry Williams is recognized for his service in the U.S. Army (1984-1991) and his dedication to mentoring youth through boxing since 1994. Regina Williams, a nurse in the Buffalo Public School System, is honored for her work as an advocate, mentor, and role model for women's health and wellness.

The resolution also requests the waiving of the signature requirement for the petition for these honorary street designations. The signs will be designated as “Army Veteran Terry Williams Way” and “Reginia Williams of Empower Me Fitness Way.”
