To authorize the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to enter into a contract with Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA LLC for a service, maintenance and support contract for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage under the City’s sole source procurement provision; and to authorize the expenditure of up to $522,400.00 from the Sewerage and Drainage Operating Fund. The City Council is considering authorizing the Director of the Department of Public Utilities to enter into a contract with Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA LLC for a service, maintenance, and support contract for the Division of Sewerage and Drainage. This contract is valued at up to $522,400.00 and will be funded from the Sewerage and Drainage Operating Fund. The agreement is for a 10-year term and covers the maintenance of two JMS 420 B825 Jenbacher gas engines located at the Jackson Pike WWTP. The contract utilizes the city's sole source procurement provision, as Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA LLC is the sole authorized distributor for Jenbacher parts and services in Ohio.
