The City Council is authorizing a construction services contract with Urban Infraconstruction, LLC for the Cockrell Hill Road from La Reunion Parkway to Singleton Boulevard project. This contract, for an amount not to exceed $20,330,000.00, was awarded to the lowest responsible bidder among five proposals received on December 20, 2024. The project is aligned with the Infrastructure Improvements Plan and has a history of agreements with Dallas County dating back to 2001, with the City acting as the lead agency for construction administration since 2021. Funding for the project will be drawn from multiple sources, including the 2024B Certificates of Obligation Fund, Capital Projects Reimbursement Fund, Street and Transportation Improvements Fund, Water Capital Improvement G Fund, Wastewater Capital Improvement G Fund, Water Construction Fund, and Wastewater Construction Fund.
