Amends a grant agreement with MILE HIGH 360 by adding $503,270.50 for a new contract total $1,474,911.50 and adding two years for a new end date of 12-31-2027 to provide nutritious food access as funded by the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative serving children, in Council District 3 (ENVHL-202368596/ENVHL-202581523-02).

This item amends a grant agreement with MILE HIGH 360 to increase funding and extend the contract duration. The funding is increased by $503,270.50, bringing the new total contract amount to $1,474,911.50. The contract end date is extended by two years to December 31, 2027. This funding, provided by the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, supports Mile High 360 in providing nutritious food access, nutrition education, and assistance with federal nutrition programs for children aged 18 and under. Services will be provided at 1265 Mariposa St, Denver, CO 80204, within Council District 3. Mile High 360 was selected through a competitive RFP process and has provided these services to the city before. Subcontractors include Slow Food Denver.

This amendment will extend and enhance services providing nutritious food access and education for children in Council District 3. Residents can expect continued support for families through food boxes, meals, and nutrition workshops until the end of 2027.
