Amends a grant agreement with SPROUT CITY FARMS by adding $527,382.98 for a new total of $1,582,170.98 and adding two years for a new end date of 12-31-2027 to provide nutritious food access and nutrition education as funded by the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, citywide (ENVHL-202368713/ENVHL-202581530-02).

This item amends a grant agreement with SPROUT CITY FARMS to add $527,382.98, bringing the total to $1,582,170.98. The agreement is also extended by two years, with a new end date of 12-31-2027. These funds, provided by the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, will continue to support nutritious food access and nutrition education citywide. The program includes no-cost CSA shares, farm stands, produce donations, and farm-based education for K-8 students, as well as youth leadership programs.

Residents will continue to benefit from expanded access to nutritious food and nutrition education programs, with an extended timeline for services funded by the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative.
