(CD 5) Authorize Execution of Amendment No. 1 in the Amount of $503,696.00 to an Engineering Agreement with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility Digester Improvements Project

The City Council is asked to authorize an amendment to an engineering agreement with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for the Village Creek Water Reclamation Facility Digester Improvements Project (City Project No. 102652). This amendment, Amendment No. 1, is for an additional $503,696.00, bringing the total revised contract amount to $1,325,332.00. The additional funds are for necessary construction support services to complete the project. The project is located in Council District 5. Funding is available in the W&S Capital Projects Fund for the Water Department, as previously appropriated.
