Public Works, re: Plans and Specification for the 2026 Sewer Lining Project and On-Call Sewer and Storm Drain Lining Services Resolution adopting the plans and specification for the 2026 Sewer Lining Project and On-Call Sewer and Storm Drain Lining Services, Specification No. 3976 and Plan Nos. 3-1590 and 3-1595; and directing the City Clerk to advertise for bids
Summary
The City Council is being asked to adopt the plans and specifications for the 2026 Sewer Lining Project and On-Call Sewer and Storm Drain Lining Services (Specification No. 3976, Plan Nos. 3-1590 and 3-1595). This action will allow the City Clerk to advertise for bids for these projects. The Public Works Department is undertaking this trenchless pipeline rehabilitation program to maintain reliable service and protect public health, addressing aging sewer and storm drain infrastructure, much of which is over 100 years old. The project includes both planned sectional and full-length lining for identified sewer segments citywide (Phase I) and unit-price-based, as-needed rehabilitation and repair services for sewer and storm drain pipelines over an initial three-year term, with an option to extend for two additional years (Phase II). The estimated construction cost is $5,500,000, to be appropriated from the Sewer Fund (5250) upon contract award. The project is categorically exempt from environmental review.
