Meeting Minutes - February 26, 2026

The Harbour Commission approved the January 22, 2026 meeting minutes by a 6-0 vote. The meeting included a presentation by Orange County Coastkeepers on their shell string and living shorelines projects aimed at enhancing native oyster recruitment and shoreline stability. Commissioners were asked to complete and submit their annual Code of Ethics Acknowledgement forms. The Infrastructure Ad Hoc Committee reported it would continue evaluating issues related to a general permit process. Staff provided updates on Marine Safety Division preparations for the summer season and a legal case, Murchison v. City of Newport Beach, which could impact city beaches. The next meeting is scheduled for March 26, 2026.
