This ordinance appropriates a total of $4,550,172.00 to address budget shortfalls and partially fund the Gateway Jax Project. The funds are sourced from:

• $2,275,086.00 from the General Capital Improvement Projects - Debt Management Fund Principal account.
• $2,275,086.00 from the Council 2% Extraordinary Lapse - Contingency account.

The appropriation is directed to:

• The Multiyear Programs and Initiatives - Gateway N4 Contingency account ($2,275,086.00).
• General Fund Non-Departmental Council Extraordinary Lapse accounts ($2,275,086.00).

The primary purposes are to remove negative budget amounts in various general fund non-departmental centers and to provide partial funding for a completion grant for the Gateway Jax Project, as previously authorized by Ordinance 2024-485-E. The Gateway Jax Project involves the construction of three mixed-use multifamily and retail developments and the rehabilitation of an existing parking garage in Downtown Jacksonville.
