This ordinance appropriates $294,068 for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) to purchase specialized emergency preparedness equipment and for travel to a FEMA grant management course. The funding includes $220,551 from a U.S. Department of Homeland Security grant and $73,517 in local match funds from the General Fund.
