Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance Authorizing the City Manager to amend the Community Development Department Housing Rehabilitation Fund FY25-26 annual budget by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $3,150,000.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program. Grant match in the amount not to exceed $250,000.00 is available through Community Development Fund - 2025 CDBG Grant.

The City Manager is authorized to amend the Community Development Department Housing Rehabilitation Fund's FY25-26 annual budget to appropriate $3,150,000.00 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program. This amendment also includes a grant match of up to $250,000.00 from the Community Development Fund - 2025 CDBG Grant. The primary change is an update to the Period of Performance (POP) for the grant, extending it from December 1, 2025, to March 2, 2026, and maintaining a 48-month duration, now ending on March 2, 2030. The total HUD amount for the grant is now $3,150,000.00.
