This resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Watershed Watch in Kentucky, Inc. (KWW). The agreement directs KWW to coordinate volunteers for quarterly water quality monitoring throughout 2026. This monitoring is a requirement to fulfill the city's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Permit. The cost for these services will not exceed $5,000.00, which is budgeted for in FY25 under account #4052-303204-3373-71205. KWW will be responsible for enlisting and coordinating qualified volunteers, submitting training records, and ensuring volunteers sign necessary waivers. LFUCG will provide all necessary monitoring equipment and supplies.
