This resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) for the roof replacement project at the Robert F. Stephens Circuit and District Courthouses. The AOC will reimburse the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) for construction costs, up to a maximum of $4,169,764.28. The total estimated project cost is $4,500,000. LFUCG is responsible for any costs exceeding the AOC reimbursement amount. The project is scheduled to begin construction in spring 2026 and must be completed by June 30, 2027. LFUCG is reassigning $4,500,000 from its capital reserve to fund this project.
