A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute an Amendment to an Agreement with Repairers of the Breach, Inc., in order to add a location to the project service area, and further authorizing the Mayor to execute any other amendments with Repairers of the Breach Inc., related to that Agreement. This resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute an amendment to an existing agreement with Repairers of the Breach, Inc. This amendment will add a new location, E7 Kids Café at 180 E. Maxwell, Lexington, Kentucky 40508, to the project service area. This location is within Census Tract #8.02.

The original agreements, authorized by Council Resolutions 256-2023 and 226-2024, provided $20,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for 2023 and $20,000 for 2024 to Repairers of the Breach, Inc. These funds are used for their E7 Kids Café youth services program, which offers after-school meals, tutoring, computer access, field trips, and educational enrichment activities for low-income youth.

This amendment does not involve any new costs or budgetary impacts, as the funds have already been allocated and budgeted in previous fiscal years. The Mayor is also authorized to execute any future amendments related to this agreement.
