A Resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute Agreements related to Neighborhood Development Funds with Fayette Alliance, Inc. ($1,500); Community Inspired Lexington Inc. ($6,000); Idle Hour Neighbors Alliance, Inc. ($650); Lexington Community Porch LLC ($1,000); Fayette County farm bureau education foundation, Inc. ($500); Young Men’s Christian Association of Central Ky., Inc. ($500); Bryan Station Traditional Magnet School PTSA Inc. ($950); Marafiki Center, Inc. ($2,600); Ky. Lions Eye Foundation, Inc. ($1,200); Lexington Children’s Museum, Inc. ($1,750); Lexington Leadership Foundation, Inc. ($900); Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center Corporation ($900); and A Caring Place, Inc. ($1,150), for the Office of the Urban County Council, at a cost not to exceed the sum stated. [Council Office, Hall]

This resolution authorizes the Mayor to execute agreements for Neighborhood Development Funds (NDF) totaling $21,150.00 for various community projects. The funds are allocated to thirteen different organizations, including:

• Fayette Alliance, Inc.: $1,500.00 for printing a spring neighborhood newsletter.
• Community Inspired Lexington Inc.: $6,000.00 to sponsor a community event for students and families.
• Idle Hour Neighbors Alliance, Inc.: $650.00 for a free festival.
• Lexington Community Porch LLC: $1,000.00 for the annual Triple Crown Advisors night.
• Fayette County Farm Bureau Education Foundation, Inc.: $500.00 for "Hunger Doesn't Take a Spring Break" to provide lunches for children.
• YMCA of Central KY, Inc.: $500.00 for STEM Black History celebration expenses.
• Bryan Station Traditional Magnet School PTSA Inc.: $950.00 to foster connection between northside and Spanish immersion communities.
• Marafiki Center, Inc.: $2,600.00 to host a Swahili Day festival.
• Ky. Lions Eye Foundation, Inc.: $1,200.00 for their 2026 auction fundraiser.
• Lexington Children’s Museum, Inc.: $1,750.00 for their Grow Smart Academy sponsorship.
• Lexington Leadership Foundation, Inc.: $900.00 for expenses related to their March 27, 2026 event.
• Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center Corporation: $900.00 for programming to celebrate Black History Month.
• A Caring Place, Inc.: $1,150.00 for their meal program supporting older adults and people with disabilities.

The funds are designated for the Office of the Urban County Council and will be disbursed from account #1105-121002-91715.
