CONTINUED FROM SEPTEMBER 12, 2025, OCTOBER 3, 2025, AND NOVEMBER 5, 2025 Information Technology Agency report and Motion (McOsker – Hernandez) relative to implementation of Workday.

This item concerns the ongoing implementation of Workday, a new system for the City's Human Resources and Payroll (HRP) functions. Workday went live on June 16, 2024, replacing the 22-year-old PaySR system. The project aimed to provide updated tools for payroll, human capital management, and benefits administration. Following a period of intensive support (Hypercare), the City has transitioned to the Extended Support Service (ESS) phase for ongoing maintenance. The motion, introduced by McOsker and seconded by Hernandez, requests that the Information Technology Agency and Personnel Department, with the Controller's assistance, provide monthly reports on Workday's integration. These reports should detail the number of payroll issues and their resolutions, as well as the status and utilization of the new human resource tools.
