This resolution, sponsored by Councilmember Hutt and McOsker, establishes parking restrictions for oversized vehicles on a specific segment of West 29th Street. The affected area is along both sides of the street between Crenshaw Boulevard and South Bronson Avenue. Parking of vehicles exceeding 22 feet in length or 7 feet in height will be prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. This measure aims to address issues caused by overnight parking of large vehicles, which obstruct visibility, constrict travel lanes, and block driveway access, creating hazardous conditions for residents. The Department of Transportation is directed to post appropriate signage to enforce this new restriction.
