The City Council is considering approving the plans and specifications for the Upper Partrick Road Rehabilitation Project (RDS 24-37). This project involves authorizing the advertisement for sealed bids and the subsequent opening of those bids. The Director of Public Works will publish the time, date, and location for the bid opening, in accordance with Section 20150.8 of the Public Contract Code. The project has no fiscal impact and is considered discretionary. The total budget for the project is $2,000,000, with $1,400,000 allocated for the construction contract, $280,000 for a 20% construction contingency, and $100,000 for design and engineering. Currently, $93,500 has been spent on design and engineering, and environmental surveys/geotechnical work.
