An ordinance to amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by changing from RS5 to R6-A zoning for property located at 1435 Meridian Street, at the corner of Meridian Street and Gatewood Ave and located within a Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit Overlay District (0.18 acres), all of which is described herein (Proposal No. 2025Z-024PR-001).

This ordinance proposes to rezone a 0.18-acre property at 1435 Meridian Street, located at the corner of Meridian Street and Gatewood Ave, from RS5 to R6-A zoning. The property is also within a Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit Overlay District. The application was submitted by C&R Associates on behalf of Checkerboard Properties.

This zoning change could allow for increased density or different types of housing on the property at 1435 Meridian Street.
