This ordinance approves a $44,200,000.00 contract (No. 6605615) between Fairpointe Planning, LLC and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for comprehensive technical and engineering (A&E) services. This is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with Fairpointe Planning, LLC being one of 30 firms awarded to provide services across Metro departments, primarily for the Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the "Choose How You Move" (CHYM) initiative.

The contract term is 36 months, from an estimated January 2, 2026, to January 1, 2029, with options for up to five one-year extensions, not to exceed a total of 96 months. Services include a wide range of activities such as multimodal planning, transportation demand management, transit planning, infrastructure design (roads, bridges, sidewalks, bikeways), traffic flow and operations, environmental impact analysis, safety planning, land use coordination, congestion management, public engagement, resilience planning, and various technical analyses (traffic studies, parking, micromobility, geotechnical). The contract also includes Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) participation goals of 7% MBE and 5% WBE.

This contract provides essential technical and engineering expertise for Metro's transportation and infrastructure projects, including the "Choose How You Move" initiative.
