A resolution approving a participation agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and Chilton Homes, LLC, to provide public water service improvements for Chilton Homes’ proposed development, as well as other existing properties in the area (MWS Project No. 25-WL-0033 and Proposal No. 2026M-003AG-001).

This resolution approves a participation agreement between the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (acting through the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services) and Chilton Homes, LLC. The agreement, designated as MWS Project No. 25-WL-0033 and Proposal No. 2026M-003AG-001, will facilitate public water service improvements for Chilton Homes' proposed development and other existing properties in the area. The Metropolitan Planning Commission recommended approval with conditions related to utility clearances. The project involves the installation of approximately 298 LF of 6" water main (DIP), a fire hydrant assembly, and a blow-off, while abandoning existing 2" and 6" water mains.

This agreement will improve public water service for residents and properties in the vicinity of Chilton Homes' development. Residents can expect upgraded water infrastructure in Council District 16.
