Authorizing the Philadelphia Land Bank to dispose of 1816, 1817, 1838, 1839, 1841, 1842, 1843, 1845, 1847, 1848, 1849, 1851, 1853, 1854, 1861, 1862, 1866 N. Etting Street located in the 5th Councilmanic District in accordance with the terms of Chapter 16-700 of The Philadelphia Code.

This resolution authorizes the Philadelphia Land Bank to dispose of 17 properties located on N. Etting Street in the 5th Councilmanic District. Specifically, the properties are 1816, 1817, 1838, 1839, 1841, 1842, 1843, 1845, 1847, 1848, 1849, 1851, 1853, 1854, 1861, 1862, and 1866 N. Etting Street. The purpose of this disposition is to facilitate the development of new homeownership housing. These new homes will be eligible for participation in the Neighborhood Preservation Initiative’s Turn the Key program. The resolution, introduced by Councilmember Young, was adopted by City Council on December 11, 2025.

This action will lead to the development of new homeownership opportunities on N. Etting Street, revitalizing vacant or underutilized properties and potentially increasing affordable housing stock through the Turn the Key program.
