The City Council is approving the 2025-2026 Housing Opportunities Made Easy (H.O.M.E.) Program Annual Program Statement and Budget, allocating $194,597,283 in its first year. This funding, generated from an $800 million bond offering authorized in June 2025, will support a wide array of housing-related initiatives. These include programs for affordable housing preservation and production, basic home repairs, blight reduction, homeowner and renter assistance, and neighborhood infrastructure improvements. The program aims to benefit residents across all council districts through various agencies like the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (PRA) and Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC).

Residents will benefit from increased affordable housing options, home repair assistance, and homelessness prevention services funded by this significant program.
