Authorizing encroachments in the nature of a sidewalk café in the vicinity of 2535-37 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19148, under certain terms and conditions.

This ordinance authorizes the owner of 2535-37 S 13th St (South House) to install a sidewalk café. The café will consist of a total of four (4) tables and eight (8) seats, encroaching a maximum of four feet from the curbline and three feet from the building line along the east sidewalk of South 13th Street. The owner must obtain all necessary permits, enter into an agreement with the City, maintain the café, carry insurance, and adhere to all city regulations, including preventing nuisance behavior. The permission expires in one year if an agreement is not finalized, and a $200.00 fee must be paid within sixty days of the ordinance becoming law.

Residents may see a new sidewalk café at 2535-37 S 13th St, which will occupy a portion of the sidewalk but is required to leave at least five feet of clear passage.
