Amending Chapter 10-2800 of The Philadelphia Code (“Chapter 10-2800 Vehicular Mobile Service Providers”) to add new prohibitions on where mobile medical service providers may operate and providing for penalties, all under certain terms and conditions.

This ordinance amends Chapter 10-2800 of The Philadelphia Code to add new restrictions on where Mobile Medical Service Providers may operate. Specifically, it prohibits their operation in certain divisions within the 41st, 45th, 54th, 55th, 56th, 57th, 64th, and 65th Wards, as depicted in Map A. Violations of these new restrictions will be subject to a fine of up to $1,000. The ordinance takes effect immediately upon passage.

Residents in specific areas of West and Southwest Philadelphia may see a reduction in the availability of mobile medical services due to new operating restrictions and potential fines for providers.
