Proposed 2025 Board of Public Utilities Workplan (20-presentation) Brian Siana, Chair, Board of Public Utilities

The Mobility and Infrastructure Committee is asked to receive and file the 2025 Board of Public Utilities Workplan – Final Update and approve the proposed 2026 Workplan. The 2025 workplan, approved in early 2025, covered March 2025 through February 2026. The Board of Public Utilities approved the 2025 final update and the proposed 2026 workplan on February 9, 2026. The 2026 workplan, which will run from March 2026 to February 2027, largely continues ongoing activities from the previous year, including reviewing board standing rules, policy guides, purchasing policies, and the impacts of Proposition 218. New to the 2026 plan is a review of the Board's Mission, Vision, and Values. The Board also plans to continue reviewing utility-specific legislative policy, operational documents, major projects, and community engagement efforts. There is no fiscal impact associated with this report.
