A Resolution to Waive the Bid Process and Enter into a Professional Services Contract with V3 Companies for Design Engineering Services for the Renwick Road Path Project

This resolution proposes entering into a professional services contract with V3 Companies for Phase II Engineering Services for the Renwick Road Multi-Use Path Project. The project extends from Prairie Bluff Preserve to IL Route 53. The contract amount is $474,925, which includes design fees of $410,415 and budgeted reimbursable expenses of $64,510. The scope of work includes supplemental topographic surveys, plat of highways and legal descriptions, tree surveys, wetland assessments and permitting, drainage design, plans, specifications, estimates, utility coordination, agency coordination, and bid support. Land acquisition services, including appraisals and negotiations, will be provided by Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) as a subcontractor.

This contract will advance the Renwick Road Multi-Use Path Project by funding the design and engineering phase. Residents can anticipate a more detailed plan for a new path that will improve connectivity and safety in the area.
