Resolution authorizing the Recreation and Park Department to accept and expend a grant in the amount of $1,150,000 from the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority Measure AA Grant for the India Basin Shoreline Park Project; to enter into the associated grant agreement (as required by Charter, Section 9.118(a) that requires the continued operation of the property for public recreation for a period of 20-years upon project completion; and to enter into modifications and amendments to the grant agreement that do not materially increase the obligations or liabilities to the City and are necessary to effectuate the purposes of the agreement or this Resolution.

This resolution authorizes the Recreation and Park Department to accept and expend a $1,150,000 grant from the San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority (Measure AA Grant) for the India Basin Shoreline Park Project. The grant will fund shoreline restoration, pollution removal, stormwater management through bioretention areas, and improvements to public access along the San Francisco Bay Trail.
