Resolution approving and authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (“MOHCD”) to execute a grant agreement with 967 Mission, LP in the amount of $10,548,907 for a term of 15 years to provide operating subsidies for a 95-unit 100% affordable housing project, with 40 units of housing for extremely low-income seniors; approving the form of and authorizing the execution of the grant agreement; granting general authority to City officials to take actions necessary to implement this Resolution, as defined herein.

This resolution approves a $10,548,907 grant agreement with 967 Mission, LP for a 15-year term to provide operating subsidies for a 95-unit, 100% affordable housing project located at 967 Mission Street. Specifically, 40 units are designated for extremely low-income seniors, with 20 units set at 15% Area Median Income (AMI) and 20 units at 25% AMI. The funding, sourced from the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s Permanent Local Housing Allocation Program (PLHA), aims to ensure long-term affordability. The Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation will serve as the Tenant Services Provider. The project also involves a $44,318,000 MOHCD loan and a $26,600,000 J.P. Morgan Chase loan. The grant agreement was recommended for approval by the Citywide Loan Committee on October 17, 2025, and the funding schedule runs from October 1, 2028, to December 31, 2042.
