Arts and Culture Update Staff will present an update on Arts and Culture programs. Recommended Action: Information Only.

This is an informational update on the City's Arts and Culture programs. Key initiatives highlighted include:

• Live at Juilliard: A summer concert series scheduled from July 12 – August 16. Food vendor and non-profit alcohol partner applications are open.
• Film Santa Rosa: Launched in February 2026, this initiative aims to establish Santa Rosa as a film-friendly destination. A mixer held on February 27, 2026, attracted over 200 attendees, including regional filmmakers and local businesses interested in film locations. The program has already generated scouting inquiries.
• National Arts Program: Celebrated its 23rd anniversary.
• History of Sonoma County Panels: Six panels have been poured. Due to feasibility concerns with the original design, staff is exploring alternate display options with a letter of support from Asawa Lanier, Inc. to ensure visibility, preservation, and public connection. Further community input will be sought.

The update also encourages community engagement through an Arts and Culture Newsletter and social media channels.
