The resolution highlights the Department of Health Services' work in disease prevention, emergency preparedness, environmental health, maternal and child health, laboratory testing, animal services, and health equity initiatives. It also acknowledges the contributions of Sonoma County Animal Services and the role of the Public Health Officer as the local health authority.
