Library Announcements

The South San Francisco Public Library has announced a variety of programs and events for March and April 2026.

Featured Events include:

• Book Club: Meets monthly, with the April selection being "The God of the Woods" by Liz Moore.
• Women's History Month Film Screening: "The Hello Girls" on March 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
• Comics Jam with Josue Cruz: April 1, 2026, at 3 p.m. in the Makerspace.
• PLCAF Small Press Comics Expo: April 1, 2026, in various library locations.
• Painting Kawaii Cups: April 10, 2026, at 4 p.m. in the Makerspace.
• National Poetry Month Readings: April 11, 2026, at 12 p.m. on the 3rd Floor Lobby.
• Ukulele for Beginners: A three-session course on April 15, 22, and 29, at 3 p.m. in the Young Adult Room.
• Asian Art Museum Presentation: "Facing Mecca: Reflections of Islam in Art" on April 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the Community Room.
• Uncle Jer’s Traveling Bee Show: April 18, 2026, at 3 p.m. in the Community Room.
• Teen Poetry Slam: April 23, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Young Adult Room.
• National Library Week Film Screening: "The Librarians" on April 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

Additional programming includes Tech Tuesday classes, Sign Language Storytime, Weekly Gaming Series, Math Adventures, Family Storytime, Club de Lectura, Saturday Storytime, Pajama Storytime, Musical Storytime, and Grand Maker Drop-In sessions.
