BOND ACT(Amended)-RP056-Playland Infrastructure, Rides and Site Work

This Bond Act amends a previous act (Act No. 83-2025) to increase the authorized bond issuance for compromised or settled claims related to the arbitration between the County of Westchester and Standard Amusements LLC. The total estimated maximum cost has been raised from $36,000,000 to $36,519,294. This increase is necessary to cover the full cost of these claims.

Separately, a Capital Project Fact Sheet for RP056, "Playland Infrastructure, Rides and Site Work," details a project with an estimated ultimate total cost of $42,710,000. Of this, $12,000,000 was appropriated in 2025 for design and construction. An additional $27,710,000 is requested as a capital budget amendment, representing a re-classification of eligible capital expenditures from the 2025 operating budget. The remaining $27,710,000 is listed as "Under Review."
