The City Council will be voting on the following items:

  • Participation Agreement for National Opioid Settlement: Approval of an agreement with the Six Remnant Defendants.
  • City Street Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Project: Awarding a contract to Blount Construction Company, Inc. for $931,739.64. The Council is also asked to authorize spending up to $1,400,000.00 for potential additional work.
  • Roadway Improvements & Culvert Replacement on Sims Road: Authorizing a contract with Keck & Wood Engineering for professional design services, not to exceed $95,500.00.
  • Water Plant Upgrade (Capital Project #518): Authorizing a change order to Lakeshore Construction for $330,288.
  • Emergency Sewer Line Repair in Fort Yargo:
    • Issuing a purchase order to Consolidated Pipe for $25,483.18 for materials.
    • Issuing a purchase order to Professional Pipeline for $93,250.00.
  • Customer Portal Upgrades: Authorizing a purchase order to Tyler Technologies for $39,390.
  • Security Center Migration & Consolidation Project: Authorizing a purchase order to Risk Response Team for $215,398.52.
  • FY 2025 Final Budget Amendment: Approval of amendments for General Fund and Special Revenue Funds.
  • Aerial Fire Truck Lease: Approving a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a lease supplement under the GMA Direct Leasing Program.
  • Comprehensive Impact Fee Study: Approving an agreement with Hall Consulting for $78,000.
  • Whispering Winds Subdivision Final Plat: Authorizing the Mayor to approve the Final Plat for the subdivision located at 0 St Germaine Pl, Winder Georgia, 30680.
  • Surplus Property Declaration: Approving the declaration of City-owned property at 48 W Kimball Street (Parcel # WN12B 026) as surplus.
  • Winder Housing Authority Appointment: Approving a Resolution to appoint a Member to the Winder Housing Authority.
  • Ordinance Amendments:
    • First Reading and consideration of an Ordinance to amend sections 2-4(1) and 2-4(2) of the Charter of the City of Winder, Georgia regarding meeting procedures.
